My Ethics Code
My values are determined by those around me and what I have gone through in my life. You will find my core values listed below.
Honesty
Honesty needs to be shown not only in the work place and with peers, but also with oneself. If you do not obtain honesty within yourself about your beliefs and thoughts, honesty will not be shown within your work.
Respect
I will stay open-minded about my peers thoughts and ideas, as I would hope they would do the same for me. Respect needs to be shown towards yourself so it can be reflected on to others in order for successes to be achieved.
Accountability
Accountability will be beneficial to me in keeping track of my responsibilities and work that needs to be completed. This will translate into the workplace as it will increase the amount of trust and success around me.
Equality
I will show equality by giving equal opportunities and time to those around me. Equality should not be limited to one specific aspect in life; it should be shown everywhere to everyone on a daily basis no matter what the circumstances are.
Integrity
Integrity in the workplace shows respect to others' opinions no matter what the circumstances. I will also show it through addressing conflicts both honestly and respectfully. Integrity means being a role model in the workplace and out of it.
Fairness
I will show fairness to others by always giving credit to other people for the work they do and complete, as they would do the same for me. Fairness is also key in showing trust and being loyal to yourself and those around you.
